In a distinguished ceremony held at Mubarak Mandi in Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, presented the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Seva Puraskar 2024 to several deserving local social activists, including Syed Basharat. The event, marked by its solemnity and celebration of community service, took place in the presence of Dr. S P Varma (Padmashri), the President of Gandhi Global Family (GGF) Jammu & Kashmir.

The Mahatma Gandhi Seva Puraskar is a symbol of recognition for individuals who have made outstanding contributions to society, embodying the principles and spirit of Mahatma Gandhi. This year’s ceremony brought attention to the commendable work of social activists, acknowledging their dedication to uplifting the community and fostering positive change.
