Srinagar, March 3: Gulmarg is set to come alive with adrenaline-pumping winter sports as it hosts the second leg of the 5th Khelo India Winter Games from March 9 to 12. Originally postponed due to insufficient snowfall, the much-anticipated event is now back on track, promising thrilling competition and a grand showcase of India’s winter sports talent.
An official confirmed that over 300 athletes from across the country will participate in an array of high-intensity winter sports, including alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, ski mountaineering, and snowboarding. With all necessary arrangements finalized, the picturesque ski resort is ready to provide an unforgettable experience for both athletes and visitors.
