Beijing, May 22 — In a move highlighting growing ties across Asia, Chinese Premier Li Qiang is set to visit Indonesia from May 24 to 26. He will be warmly welcomed by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, who personally invited him for this important official visit.
Right after, Premier Li will head to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where he will participate in the ASEAN-GCC-China Summit from May 26 to 28. This gathering brings together leaders from Southeast Asia, the Gulf Cooperation Council, and China to strengthen cooperation and discuss shared goals. Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, serving as ASEAN’s current chair, extended the invitation for this crucial meeting.
