Speaking from the White House, Trump attempted to reassure a war-fatigued American public, stating that the military campaign—ongoing since late February—was nearing its final phase. He emphasized that the United States is “very close” to achieving its strategic goals but warned that the coming weeks could bring extremely forceful actions if necessary.
Despite the warning, Israel reported multiple waves of missile fire from Iran within hours of Trump’s address. Sirens echoed across Tel Aviv as civilians prepared for further escalation during the sensitive Passover period.
The conflict has already reshaped regional dynamics. Key Iranian leadership figures, including top military officials, have reportedly been killed in earlier strikes. Meanwhile, Trump hinted at possible negotiations with Iran’s new leadership, describing them as more open to dialogue—though no direct talks have been confirmed.
