Delhi Blast: LG Manoj Sinha Urges Citizens to Stand United Against Terrorism

The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, has expressed deep sorrow and extended heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in the tragic Red Fort car blast on November 10.

Speaking during the Foundation Week celebration of the Islamic University, Awantipora, Sinha emphasized that terrorism continues to pose the greatest challenge to peace and progress. “I pay my condolences to those who lost their lives in the Red Fort car blast on the 10th of November,” he stated solemnly.

He described terrorism as a force that not only destroys lives but also attempts to fracture the unity, brotherhood, and shared humanity that hold communities together. “For three decades, terrorism has devastated the youth of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.

Highlighting the transformation in the region, LG Sinha praised the determination of the younger generation, noting, “Today, our youth is fulfilling its dreams and aspirations — a reality that remains intolerable for the neighbouring country and its supporters.”

In a heartfelt appeal to citizens, the Lieutenant Governor called for public cooperation with security forces, urging everyone to play a proactive role in preserving peace. “It is the duty of the public to inform the security forces about unsocial elements in the state so that peace and harmony can be safeguarded,” he said, reinforcing the message that security is a shared responsibility.

This call to unity resonates as a reminder that terrorism seeks to divide, while courage and cooperation build nations. In moments like these, standing together — beyond fear and differences — defines the strength of humanity.
