Daily Flights Just Got Easier: Batik Air Brings Bangkok and Kuching Closer to You

PETALING JAYA – Good news for travellers! Starting July 28, Batik Air will be making your travel plans even easier with the launch of daily flights from Subang’s Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (SZB) to both Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) and Kuching International Airport (KCH).

This marks a meaningful step in enhancing regional connectivity, especially for those who appreciate the convenience of flying from an airport that’s closer to the city.

“This is more than just new routes – it’s about giving our passengers more choices and a smoother travel experience,” shared Datuk Chandran Rama Murthy, CEO of Batik Air. “We’re excited to connect Subang with two vibrant destinations – Bangkok, a city full of life, and Kuching, the cultural heart of Sarawak.”

For many, Subang Airport is a stress-free alternative to KLIA, especially for quick business trips or spontaneous getaways. With these new daily routes, travellers can now skip the long drive and get to where they need to be faster and easier.

These additions join Batik Air’s existing domestic services from Subang to Penang, Kota Bharu, and Kota Kinabalu, reinforcing the airline’s commitment to expanding both regional and domestic accessibility.

Whether you’re planning a shopping weekend in Bangkok or heading home to Kuching, Batik Air’s growing network from Subang is making air travel a lot more personal, convenient, and enjoyable.
