Iran accuses US of violating peace agreement after latest strikes

Iran has accused the United States of committing a “blatant violation” of the peace agreement that was reached to end the recent conflict in the Middle East following the latest American strikes on Iranian territory.

In a statement released today, Iran’s Foreign Ministry condemned the attacks, describing them as “brutal” and alleging that they targeted Iranian coastal surveillance facilities. According to the ministry, the strikes directly breached the memorandum of understanding signed by both sides to bring the war to an end.

Meanwhile, the US military stated that its forces carried out strikes on Iranian missile and drone storage facilities, as well as coastal radar installations, on Friday. Washington said the operation was conducted in response to an Iranian attack on a cargo vessel passing through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

The latest developments have once again heightened concerns over stability in the Middle East. With both nations exchanging accusations and military actions, observers fear that renewed hostilities could jeopardize regional security and disrupt global trade routes that depend heavily on the Strait of Hormuz.

At the heart of every conflict are millions of ordinary people who hope for peace, stability, and security. The international community continues to watch closely, urging all parties to exercise restraint and pursue dialogue over confrontation to prevent further escalation.
