Venezuela’s Acting President Delcy Rodríguez has called on the United States to work collaboratively with her country on a fresh agenda focused on cooperation, development, and peaceful coexistence. In a message shared on social media, Rodríguez struck a calm and conciliatory tone, emphasizing that Venezuela seeks a future free from external threats and grounded in mutual respect.
She reiterated that Venezuela remains committed to global peace by first ensuring harmony at home. Moving forward, she said, the goal is to build balanced and respectful international relationships based on equality and non-interference — not only with the United States, but with neighboring countries across the region.
Rodríguez extended a formal invitation to the U.S. government to collaborate on a shared development agenda anchored in international law, stressing that both nations — and their people — deserve dialogue over conflict. She highlighted that this message is consistent with the position long expressed by President Nicolás Maduro.
Above all, Rodríguez affirmed Venezuela’s right to peace, development, sovereignty, and a future in which Venezuelans can come together in unity and hope.
